Please. I'm begging you to consider lil kid Arven stealing dad Clavell's clothes. He's drowning in them. He wanted to look sophisticated and fancy and he DOES look sophisticated and fancy!!!! Also obviously stealing one of Clavell's pajama shirts and now he's Extra Exta Cozy. Even as a teen when the shirts fit a lil better Clavell is like 'I bought you your own pajamas' and Arven is like 'but yours are comfy'

I made a very simple Herba Mystica drop guide, since I couldn't find any out there. The spicy Herba Mystica gets two columns since SO MANY Pokemon drop it.

Anyways, if you're farming for Herba Mystica, I highly recommend you do NOT do 6 star raids. They only have a slight increase in HM drop rates from 5 star raids, and they're substantially more difficult. It isn't worth the effort.

Salty HM are your best friend for shiny hunting, btw; here's a guide someone else made for that!

UPDATE: I found another recipe guide, made by @/SilentDestroySR on twitter! These ones don't require specific HM!

UPDATE 2: found a new version of the sandwich guide above!

Okay so for a while now I’ve had an absolute Galaxy brained theory about Iono from Pokemon SV.

belades

Namely, the theory is that she’s straight up actually not human but is a Rotom.  As ridiculous as this theory is, I figured I may as well record all the reasons that led me to come to that conclusion, initially as a joke.  I don’t necessarily think it’s TRUE, but think all the details are worth compiling and sharing, so humor me.  If the pace of this seems weird, it’s cuz I’m adapting it from a twitter thread I just made.  Anyways, heads up, this post will contain spoilers for major game plot point.  I won’t spoil things directly but there’s allusions to really important stuff.  Anyways, as ridiculous as this sounds, I actually find it pretty interesting, so hear me out.

Brassius was in ORAS 8 years ago! 🌻

hello everyone! :] when i was watching gameplay of scarlet and violet on call w my friends i screamed aloud and scared them seeing these:

An art installation in Artazon featuring 4 odd stone structures and 2 rings on the floor.ALT

These (and 1 other in the town) are secret base decorations from ORAS, and when interacted with they say the same name and that they're from an 'unknown artist'. but given all the other art in the town was made by Brassius, I wanted to go look at these in ORAS

A plaque by the stone structure reads "Meditative Seat, A work by an unknown artist"ALT
A plaque by the loop reads "Heterarchial Loop, A work by an unknown artist"ALT
A screenshot of Serebii.net showing 2 decorations in ORAS, the seat and loop looking identical to the ones in Scarlet and Violet, both from the Lilycove City Art Museum. "Meditative Seat - An original work of art you can place on the floor and enjoy." "Heterarchical Loop - An original work of art you can spread out on the floor and enjoy."ALT

In ORAS, in the Lilycove Museum there is an artist (using the Kindler model probably because of the apron and gloves, ORAS doesn't have an artist trainer class) who says he just tried to submit his art to the museum and had it denied, and offers to sell it to you for ¥100000

A Kindler sits in the corner of the Lilycove Museum, talking to the player. "I asked the museum to display my art, and they turned me down!" "What kind of museum doesn't appreciate my art? Yeesh."ALT
"Anyway, how about you? Are you interested in my art?" (the player chooses yes) "Yay! I'm so glad that I finally met a Trainer who appreciates art!" "I'll specially sell my art for ¥100000 a piece to you."ALT
"Which one are you interested in?" The dropdown menu lists Paradoxical Popper, Meditative Seat, and Heterarchical Loop as the options.ALT
"Fine. We artists are lonely by nature." (if you say no to him asking if you're interested in art)ALT

(his dialouge if you refuse to buy anything ^ i can cry)

this museum also has a sculpture of a Shroomish by an "up and coming artist", and a painting of grass pokemon (...🌻 in RSE?)

A plaque next to a sculture of a Shroomish in the Lilycove Museum (the green on the Shroomish looks more saturated than normal, almost glowing) "It's a sculpture depicting Shroomish. It's created by an up-and-coming artist."ALT
A screenshot from RSE, looking at the grass painting. (It could be interpreted as vines or sunflowers, but it's like 16 pixels so. Up in the air) "It's a painting of Grass POKEMON swaying in the breeze."ALT
The same painting in ORAS, now featuring a Roselia. "It's a painting of Grass-type Pokémon in a breeze. They appear to be enjoying the wind's gentle caress."ALT

(Brassius also has a Breloom on his team in his rematch)

Now, some guy selling his sculptures for a profit in the same museum that just rejected them seems to fit with Brassius saying there was a time he only cared about money and fame (possibly after his art was already featured in the museum) and made shallow trash

Brassius talking in Hassel's 4th art class. "When I started out as an artist, I experienced many hardships. I even became deathly ill and fell into a slump that drove me to desperation."ALT
"I began worrying only about what would sell. I was concerned only with fame and fortune..."ALT
"But all my pieces during this time had no depth. They were all shallow trash!"ALT

it makes sense that he wouldn't put his name on this old work, and that perhaps Surrendering Sunflora was an attempt at a return to form of his first popular work, the Shroomish. the last bit of evidence:

The Paradoxical Popper, hidden in one of the highest parts of the playground in Artazon. A plague reads "Paradoxical Popper, a work by an unknown artist."ALT
An painter NPC is standing by the Popper, saying "This had to be! For sure!" to themself.ALT
When interacted with, the painter says "This must be a Brassius original! Though the style seems... off."ALT

an artist saying it must be a brassius original, though the style is off.

(to be clear i don't think they were planning this for 8 years or anything (though the Kindler and shroomish specifically were added in ORAS) but that theyre tying Brassius into this Lilycove Museum guy retroactively, and its really cool!!! more people need to know!!)
